Speaker: Sharon Lawlor, Violence in the Workplace Public Education.
Sharon Lawlor has more than 33 years experience in nursing, specializing in psychiatric nursing and crisis intervention. She has worked in community mental health, psychiatric hospital inpatient, emergencies rooms, group homes, youth and adult shelters. For the last 11 years, Sharon has been a consultant on a Mobile Crisis Intervention Team (MCIT) in partnership with Toronto Police services attending 911 mental health calls through out the city. She is certified Mental Health First Aid instructor and does consulting for companies who seek education on mental health in the workplace.
